Description
A matched pair of ebonised walnut high back armchairs, in late 17th century style, with parcel gilt and silvered decoration. (2)
Provenance: Field Marshal Earl Kitchener of Khartoum (1850-1916), and thence by descent.
Given to Lord Kitchener by his cousin, Florence Marc of Champneys. Kitchener lived at Broome Park from 1911 until his death in 1916.
