Description
A Victorian mahogany open armchair, with a brass studded leather upholstered seat, the seat frame stamped 'F', the back legs on brass castors, the back with an applied plaque inscribed 'LORD KITCHENER, SECRETARY STATE FOR WAR 4th August 1914-5th June 1916'.
Provenance: Field Marshal Earl Kitchener of Khartoum (1850-1916), and thence by descent.
