A large Meissen soup tureen and cover 2nd half 18th century, the unusual spherical body painted in purpurmalerei with scenes of courting couples at report in rococo landscapes between scattered floral sprays, the finial formed as a large fruit, blue crossed swords mark, 31cm across. (2)
