Description
Two Japanese gold lacquer boxes and covers, kobako and kogo Meiji 1868-1912, the kogo shaped as a peach with a leafy stalk, in gold takamaki-e, kirigame on a nashiji ground, the kobako as a shell in gold, silver and black dogidashi and kiragame, interior in nashigi, 9.3cm. (4)
