Description

A Chinese painted fresco fragment Yuan/Ming dynasty, depicting a voluptuous Boddhisatva standing amidst swirling waves and red lotus pods, her body turned to one side and dressed in flowing red and green robes, she holds a flowering bud in one hand and the other up in an elegant gesture, 103.5cm x 78.7cm.

Provenance: formerly in the collection of Mrs van Malderghem, Belgium.
