λ A Chinese red cinnabar lacquer twin peach box and cover Qianlong 1736-95, the fruit joined and carved in low relief with a diaper ground, issuing from brown lacquer leafy branches, applied with ivory flowerheads and buds, 8cm. (2)
Provenance: Field Marshal Earl Kitchener of Khartoum (1850-1916), and thence by descent.
