A pair of Chinese famille rose sgraffito ground dishes six character Qianlong seal marks and of the period 1736-95, each painted with flowering chrysanthemum and convolvulus issuing from the rim, the glaze a vibrant pea-green, one with a paper label for the Liddell Collection, 20.7cm. (2)
Provenance: the Gerald Mere collection, and thence by descent.
