Description
A fine Chinese famille rose ruby ground medallion bowl six character Daoguang seal mark and of the period 1821-50, brightly enamelled with four roundels containing figures in watery landscapes and engaged in agricultural activities and scrolling foliate designs, all reserved on a rich ruby ground, the interior painted with a central peony bloom within a border of foliage, peaches and stylized ruyi-heads, 11.9cm.
