A unique Martin Brothers stoneware study of a weasel by Robert Wallace Martin, dated 1888, modelled cornered and rearing up its mouth open, glazed ochre and pale brown, on textured base incised to the reverse Sketch of Weasel Caught in the Pottery Dec 1888, the front incised R W Martin Southall Middx 17cm. wide.
