An early 19th century cut-felt collage picture by George Smart, depicting the Goose woman with a view of Eridge Castle in the distance, the reverse with a paper label inscribed 'G. SMART FRANT, NEAR TUNBRIDGE WELLS, ARTIST IN CLOTH AND VELVET FIGURES, TO HIS ROYAL HIGHNESS THE DUKE OF SUSSEX', with a further paper label for Dolman & Son, Greenwich, 10ΒΌ x 7in (26 x 17.8cm), in a glazed bird's eye maple frame.
