Description
A late Victorian oak, mahogany and stained pine collector's cabinet, with a panelled door enclosing twenty glazed topped drawers containing a collection of butterflies and moths, some with date and location of capture, 49in (124.5cm) high, 22¼in (56.3cm) wide, 20½in (52cm) deep.
Provenance: Dr. John Ash, ornithologist, Fordingbridge.
