An early 18th century ebonised wood, mother of pearl and brass box, inlaid scrolling foliage, with a gilt brass faceted handle to a hinged lid and a cut velvet lined interior, possibly Portugese or Ottoman, 9¾in (24.4cm) high, 7in (17.4cm) wide, 3¾in (9.5cm) deep.
