Description
Prince Charles, the Young Pretender, The Treaty of Aix-La-Chapelle, 1745, silver medal, by C. N. Roettier (?), bust left, rev. Britannia stands on the shore watching an approaching fleet, AMOR ET SPES, 42mm (MI 600/251; Woolf 59.2; Eimer 595). Very fine, but has been polished and side-pierced at top for suspension loop.
