A pair of George III silver taper sticks,
by William Cafe, London 1771,
knopped baluster form, shell shoulders, spool shaped capitals with beaded borders, on raised square bases with shell motifs, engraved with a crest, height 13.5cm, approx. weight 10oz. (2)
The crest is that of Hopton of Canon Frome, Hertfordshire.
