A George IV mahogany and brass bound document box, the hinged cover with a sunken brass handle inscribed 'Sir Gilbert Heathcote, Bart, PAPERS', the interior with two hinged covers and a vacant central section, with a brass lock stamped crowned 'GR' 'PATENT', 4¾in (12cm) high, 21¾in (55.2cm) wide, 15in (38cm) deep.
