Description
A Yoruba mother and child group, seated with a high crested coiffure, the child suckling whilst holding the other breast and with it's legs crossed over, and with a bead necklace, red and ebonised staining, white inventory number 22, 16½in (42cm) high.
Provenance: Ernest Ohly, Berkeley Galleries, London. Purchased February 1962.
