A Chinese celadon jade bitong 18th century, carved to the exterior in shallow relief with small plants emerging from rocky mountainous outcrops, the cylindrical body raised on three short ruyi-shaped feet, a hardwood stand, 8.3cm. (2)
Provenance: from the collection of Brodie and Enid Lodge of Flore House, Northamptonshire, and thence by descent.
