Description

A Tibeto-Chinese gilt bronze figure of White Tara 18th century, elaborately cast with beaded jewellery and a five-jeweled headdress, her hair in a high chignon, the palms and soles incised with eyes, seated on a double lotus base in dhyanasana, her left hand in vitarkamudra, her right in varadamudra, with large lotus sprays at her shoulders, her face with a central third eye and a serene expression, 17cm.
