Description
A Chinese spinach-green jade circular table screen 19th/20th century, one side carved in relief with figures on mountain paths and riding on the back of an elephant beneath a pine tree, one figure holding a banner inscribed wan guo lai chao, the reverse with an Imperial poem, raised on an elaborately carved hardwood stand, reticulated with scrolling foliage and carved with bats, the screen 22.7cm, 47cm overall.
