A large Pilkington's Lancastrian vase by Gordon Forsyth, dated 1911, shouldered form, painted with a frieze of heraldic lions and cypress trees, in golden lustre on a graduated orange ground, the neck with Latin inscription, impressed mark, painted cipher and date mark 1911 27.5cm. high
