A Meissen figure of a young Bacchus c.1770, wearing a stag pelt tied around his middle and shoulders, raising a gilt goblet in his left hand, wearing a grapevine wreath and with a further basket of grapes by his feet, incised crossed swords in a triangle mark, 15.2cm.
