A large Victorian silver Monteith bowl,
by Martin, Hall and Company, Sheffield 1894,
circular form, fluted decoration, lion mask mounted drop handles, castellated scroll border, with two cartouches, one crested, on a raised circular foot, diameter 31cm, approx. weight 58oz.
The crest is that recorded for Chamberlain/Chamberlayne, Calder, Campbell and other families.
