A Sèvres seau à liqueur c.1770, painted with colourful birds perched in low branches and on the floor beside, a single bird with a sprig in its beak in flight below each scrolled handle, blue line and gilt dentil borders to the inner and outer rims, interlaced LL marks and blue painter's mark, 31cm across.
