Description
A Chinese miniature gilt bronze figure of Palden Lhamo 18th century, the goddess seated sideways on a mule with a saddle of human skin, her right arm raised holding a sceptre, with two demonic attendants, the base cast as a sea of blood encircled by mountains, 4.3cm wide.
Provenance: from the collection of Luís Esteves Fernandes (1897-1988).
