Description

A large Chinese famille rose ovoid vase Republic period, decorated with Bao Yu sitting at a table in a garden attended by Bao Chai and twelve other ladies, the reverse with a poem from The Red Chamber, the neck and shoulder with bands of foliate scrolls, the base with a four character Qianlong mark in blue enamel, paper label for Wain Antiques, no.D361, 40cm.
