A Chinese blue and white plate six character Kangxi mark and of the period 1662-1722, painted with a scene from The Romance of the Western Chamber, with figures beneath a pine tree with a saddled horse and a wagon, the rim with a wide band containing oval panels of figures on geometric grounds, the reverse with auspicious objects, 26.9cm.
