Description
A Chinese celadon jade rhyton Ming dynasty or earlier, the flared cup carved in shallow relief with bands of archaistic designs and C-scrolls, with four sinuous chilongs clambering on the surface, the base formed as the head of a large mythical beast, its teeth bared, the stone with mottled russet striations, a hardwood stand, 18cm.
