Description

A late 15th / early 16th century German brass alms dish, the repoussé whorl centred a silvered circular boss decorated a coat of arms with a crescent moon and a lion rampant flanking a pineapple and flowers, to a band of script and a fluted outer border, with a punch decorated rim, Nuremburg, 47cm diameter.
