A 19th century French Prisoner of War straw-work box in the form of a book, the hinged lid inlaid a flower, the interior with a mirror and two hinged compartments, with two printed hearts within inscriptions 'Votre Coeur est unsensible a l'amour' and 'Vive l'Amant discret qui hent le secret', 10.2cm high, 7cm wide, 3cm deep.
