A 19th century Indian Colonial silver mug,
by George Gordon and Company, Madras 1842-1846,
campana form, leaf capped scroll handle, foliate decoration, gilded bowl, on a circular foot, inscribed, height 7.3cm, approx. weight 2.7oz.
Provenance: The Old Rectory, Little Langford, Wiltshire. Sold by order of Trustees of the Estate of the late Miss S.F. Rooke.
