Description
A Victorian silver thermometer stand,
by Cronin and Wheeler, Birmingham 1848,
pagoda form, engraved foliate decoration, fluted columns, with a mother-of-pearl dial, (thermometer missing), on an octagonal base, on four bun feet, height 11.5cm, approx. weight 1.6oz.
Provenance: The Old Rectory, Little Langford, Wiltshire. Sold by order of Trustees of the Estate of the late Miss S.F. Rooke.
