Description

A George II silver travelling inkwell and pen,

maker's mark only, Makers mark of PA is possibly not that of Peter Archambo, London circa 1730,

shaped oblong form, with a screw-down cover, plus a fluted pen with two nibs, in a velvet lined shagreen case, height of inkwell 3.4cm, approx. weight 0.8oz.

Provenance: The Old Rectory, Little Langford, Wiltshire. Sold by order of Trustees of the Estate of the late Miss S.F. Rooke.
