A George III silver-mounted glass jug,

by William Pitts and Joseph Preedy, London 1792,

faceted tapering form, the mounts with a reeded scroll handle and foliate decoration, on a circular foot, height 30.8cm.

Provenance: The Old Rectory, Little Langford, Wiltshire. Sold by order of Trustees of the Estate of the late Miss S.F. Rooke.
