Description
A Worcester teapot and cover c.1770-80, the globular body painted with Chinese figures in garden and interior scenes, the handle and spout with scrolling foliate motifs in black, iron red and gilt, the cover with a floral finial, a little nibbling to the spout, 18cm. (2)
Provenance: from the collection of Sir Anthony Tuke. Purchased from Tilley & Co., 25th March 1971.
