Catalogue Notes
The Brynmawr experiment (between 1929 and 1940) was an attempt by the Quakers to reduce the mass unemployment in the town of Brynmawr, South Wales. Set up in 1929 with twelve untrained workers the workshops later took boys directly from school for training.
