The defeat of the Spanish Armada, Dutch copper jeton, 1588, struck in Middelbourg, arms of Zeeland, crowned and garnished, SOLI DEO GLORIA, rev., two ships in action firing cannon and muskets, VENIT IVIT FVIT, 33mm (MI 146/113; Eim. 58; vL I, 384, 2; Dugn. 3186; MH 6). A lovely example on a full flan, extremely fine.
