James I and Charles, Prince of Wales, engraved silver counter, workshop of Simon de Passe, c.1616, bust of James three-quarters right, wearing broad-brimmed hat with jewel, lace ruff, ermine robes and Collar of the Garter, GIVE THY IUDGEMENTS O GOD UNTO THE KING, rev., bust of Prince Charles, small pointed beard and lace collar over doublet, AND THY RIGHTEOVSNESSE UNTO THE KINGS SONN, 30mm (MI 376/272, var.). Good very fine.
