Description

Naval Reward, Service Against Six Ships, 1650, Uniface Copper strike or squeeze of the reverse of the Award Medal, at one time attributed to Thomas Simon, probably early 18th century, a ship engaged with frigates to either side, 45mm x 37.5mm (MI 390/11; MH 36; Platt II, p. 333). Well-worn but fine.
