William II of Orange, appointed Stadtholder, Captain and Admiral-General, small Dutch silver medal, 1672, unsigned, rampant Belgic lion, wounded by an arrow, reaching for young orange tree, A IEHOVAH HOC FACTVM EST, rev., crowned shield of arms within Garter, 25.5mm (MI 553/213; vL III, 70). Extremely fine, toned.
