Louis XIV, the capitulation of Mons, French copper medal, 1691, by J. Mauger, bust right with flowing hair, rev., Hercules, leaning on his club, holds the shield of Mons, distant cityscape beyond, TOTA EVROPA SPECTANTE ADVERSANTE, 41.5mm (MI 22/189; Divo 235). Extremely fine.
