Dissensions between Dr. Charles Lucas and the Corporation of Dublin, silver medal, 1749, by Thomas Pingo, Justice prevents Anarchy from stabbing Liberty, rev., Irish harp with broken strings above legend, THE GLORIOUS ATTEMPT OF L XIV TO PRESERVE THE CONSTITUTION, symbols of Dublin Corporation on ground below, plain edge, 40mm (MI 653/357; Eim. 623; Eimer, Pingo 4), struck with integral suspension loop. Choice extremely fine, very rare thus.
