Description
An Edwardian mahogany and marquetry writing desk in the manner of Edwards and Roberts, with satinwood banding and inlaid stringing, with a pair of stationery compartments with curved lids inlaid oval panels with putti, enclosing divisions for stationery and pens and inkwells to a gilt tooled leather lined surface with three frieze drawers, one stamped '9298' with four further drawers, all inlaid scrolling foliage with griffins and fitted with brass drop handles, 95.8cm high, 120.3cm wide, 65cm deep.
