A Chinese pale celadon and brown jade carving of two badgers 18th/19th century, lying together, each holding a lingzhi spray in its mouth, one brown, the other pale celadon, a paper label for Sydney L. Moss Ltd., a fitted hardwood stand, 5cm. (2)
Provenance: an English private collection. Purchased from Sydney L. Moss Ltd.
Two badgers seen together are representative of conjugal bliss.
