Description

Two Chinese pale celadon jade carvings 19th century, one a bi disc carved in relief with C-scrolls and studs, mounted with a circular yin-yang bead, the other a rectangular plaque, carved with reticulated stylized dragons to the exterior, with a central shuang xi symbol for double happiness to each side, 7cm max. (2)

Provenance: from the estate of Johanna Joan Austin, member of the Oriental Ceramic Society 1975-2013.
