A Chinese celadon jade carving of two monkeys 18th/19th century, one seated with its back to the other and holding a fruiting peach spray, the other holding a peach in its hands, the stone carved to highlight its russet-brown markings, 4.8cm.

Provenance: a private Hong Kong collection.
