Description
A Chinese cloisonné duck and tortoise pricket candlestick Qianlong 1736-95, the bird with its wings outstretched and beak open, its feathers defined with white enamels, supporting the pricket and drip pan on its head and standing atop a tortoise, which in turn rests upon two snakes, the base with a flared rim, depicting waves breaking against rockwork, all raised upon three ruyi-head feet, 24.2cm.
