Description
A massive Chinese cloisonné circular box and cover 19th century, the domed cover with a central panel containing a mountainous landscape and a waterfall, with pagodas and a small bridge crossing the river, encircled by a lotus scrolling band and a wider band of quatrefoil panels with peony, chrysanthemum, lotus and prunus, the rims decorated with key fret, the base similarly decorated, the interior with circular foliate panels within an irregular geometric ground, 43cm.
