Description
A Tibeto-Chinese gilt bronze figure of White Tara 17th/18th century, depicted on a double lotus base in dhyanasana, her left hand in vitarkamudra, her right in varadamudra, the palms and soles incised with eyes, her face with a central third eye and a serene expression, her hair secured in a high chignon and with an elaborate headdress, with lotus sprays and ribbons at her shoulders, a hardwood fitted stand, 10.3cm.
