Description

A large Chinese Neolithic vase c.2000 BC, the ovoid body tapering to the footrim and with lug handles, painted in red and black pigments with a geometric spiral design above waves, the cylindrical neck with chevrons, 34.5cm.

Provenance: purchased in Hong Kong c.1990.
