A Chinese Longquan celadon dish early Ming dynasty, the flaring body rising to a flattened rim, carved to the interior with a wide band containing scrolling foliage, the well with a single peony flower within concentric bands, the reverse with petals radiating from the circular footrim, 31.3cm.
